About Us

Transitions of PA is committed to ending all forms of violence and oppression by providing safe, survivor-centered resources, prevention, education, and mobilization for social change within our communities.

Transitions of PA is services to victims and survivors since 1975, Transitions of PA was originally founded under the name Susquehanna Valley Women in Transition.  In 2009, the organization officially changed our name to Transitions of PA to better reflect diversity in the populations we serve.  Transitions provides non-discriminatory services to women, men, children and families who seek and need our services.

Transitions provides comprehensive services in Union, Snyder, and Northumberland counties with expanded medium-term and long-term safe housing assistance throughout Columbia, Montour, Lycoming, Clinton, and Schuylkill counties.
